TLC Staff Resources:
Purpose and Use of The Learning Center:
- Drop-In with an Academic Purpose with Tutoring Support
- Teacher or Student Initiated from Class
- Groups of Students studying with a Tutor
- Student doing Homework - able to ask questions as needed
- Intervention Team Initiated with Classroom Teacher Direction
- Table available for Classroom Teachers to Tutor Students
- No Make-up Testing or Quizzing
- Staff and Student Tutors can eat lunch

Blue Days:
8:00-3:30
Closed First Day of the Week during First Semester
Open During Finals – Adult Staff Only

TLC Staff Roles and Responsibilities:
Host/Manager:

1. Greet students
2. Sign in/check in
3. Match with tutor
4. Computer/materials check-out
5. Collecting/filing forms for exit… copy for TLC,Teacher, Student, and IC…
6. Manage on-task behaviors
7. Maintaining the culture to be consistent with center purposes
8. Back up tutor when possible
9. Quality control with tutor behaviors
10. All adults able to serve in this role… coordinate absences…

Coaches'/Mentors':

1. Tutor coach
2. Quality control with tutor behaviors
3. Back up tutors/specific behavior tutor modeling
4. May assume role of host/manager

Administrators’:

1. Development of adult training and calendar
2. Teacher training by Admin and Chairs…
3. One “On Call” each period for: trainers,supervisor of adults, supervisor of culture and center, assignment/use ofcenter, feedback, general troubleshooter
4. Admin On Call each period:
   • Brad– Tom – Casey – Warren (2) – Debbie – Shannon – Loren – Barb
5. Scheduling of tutors by more than just name(i.e. areas of expertise, willingness)
6. Collect the Data of Tutor Conferences and Tutee Attendance
